Rolling pins up!
It has been such a pleasure to share recipes and cooking tips with all my friends over the years. First my page Peg Dunken's Cookbook, with garnered 139 followers. I switched up with Sunny In The Kitchen page with more than 100k followers (bless you all, your likes kept me so encouraged me!). Then I ran into a two-fold problem: Facebook began charging and arm and a leg (and another leg) to run my page's circulation. I simply could not afford that. The second problem was the Sunny In The Kitchen name, itself. There is another Sunny from the cooking channel, and she seems to have a very similar name. So I decided to begin a group, and oh the fun we are having, nearly 900 of us! Every day and every recipe is so exciting posted to our Friends With Recipes. So I decided to take it to a blog, but guess what... once again that name has been taken! So I have created this blog: FRIENDS WITH ROLLING PINS. I hope you love it.
So here we are friends. I will be sharing a blog recipe, each day (hopefully) with our group. It will be selected from outside our usual feed, and will feature what I think is a really special recipe. I hope you will, too! My goal and hope for the future is to have an on-line cookbook, with stories, anecdotes and prayers from all my friends.
Today's recipe is a delightfully refreshing, yet sweet treat cookie from Six Sisters Stuff cooking blog.. It has everything you could want in a special cookie, including white chocolate chips. It is Be sure you zest your fruit lightly - skim the surface, to prevent bitterness.
Will you be trying this recipe? Let me know, right here. I am asking you to please like and follow Friends With Rolling Pins. Look for more and new recipes coming up! Thank you for being here with me.
